Licensync is the first Italian and international Collecting Society to manage Digital Content

– native digital audio works – podcast,
– video works-vodcast,
– Web Writing and Web News publications.

The aim of our activity is to manage the protection and online use of digital content and to guarantee the fair remuneration to authors and performers for the online use of their works and other materials.

The protection of native digital audio podcast works is acquired through upload of native works through a blockchain; hence creating the first international database of managed works and of royalties distributed to our members for:
– reproduction rights
– private copy and related rights.

When registering your podcast works, you will also register all the information on, included pre-existing music and multi-repertoire works. We can guarantee the musical/multi-repertoire analytical information also for digital audio works, not only for audio-visual.

Since January 2023, Licensync, a non-profit Collecting Society, acquires mandates and facilitates obtaining authorizations and licenses for online uses to ensure transparency in the exploitation of works and other protected material.

Our distribution policy explains how we calculate, collect and pay out royalties for our members for:

a) the right of communication to the public in an online environment through mobile telephone or similar telematic networks, for linear non-interactive uses, including registration rights for technical and communication purposes;

b) the right to record, reproduce and making content available to the public in an online environment and to provide on demand access (time and place) by means of non-linear or otherwise interactive transmissions made
